frequent log-ins needed

I'm guessing that this is the right place to ask this:

After singing in my sign-in times out after only a few minutes.
Just a few minutes ago I posted a reply and a few moments later I had to sign back in.

This happens a dozen times a day (if I'm around the computer) I don't believe it to be my browser because no other sties have the issue.

Any ideas?

I log in 3-5 times a day. My work computer makes me log in, my home computer will hold the login credentials. Although once logged in on my work computer, if I dont close the window, I do not have to log in again until I do.

Do me a favor, delete the cookies on your computer, ask if you need help in finding where to do this.
Then see if the issue has been resolved, it could be that the cookie that the site uses has been corrupted and a new one is not being written to your computer.
