I have been trying to find information in the TM's on servicing my front axle u-joints (see attachment). My hubs had some oil and water and I have serviced or replaced everything else but need to do the u-joints. Any pointers?

Im selling an axle set for a crawler project. He wants to know if the axle is a u-joint style. My question is are all m35a2 axles u-joint style or is there another type?

Arent these the type that you have to undo a snap-ring in the yoke and slide the one cap off to get the U-joint itself out? If thats the case, and theres no zerk, dont you have to use grease to hold all the bearings in the cap to re-install them? Im no U-joint expert, and have only done ones like that maybe twice before...I would just clean them, repack as much grease in them as possible, and re-install them.

My experience with u-joints is normally you end up destroying them trying to get them out. Unless you plan on replacing them I would just repack some grease the best you can
