Got these installed yesterday. Box was dated 1987. The instructions, while detailed, did not make sense. If I would have followed the instructions the steps would have stowed outward. So I just did what worked. They turned out pretty fair. The CARC paint isn't quite a match, but I don't care. just painted my color over the shiny bolts and little retainer chains
