Front head lights

I am going to remove the head lights from my A3 tomorrow and see where I can remount them. It should change the look... Plus their illegal right now. My state has a law saying they can only be 54" from the ground to center of the head light, mine is 64" right now. Was thinking of cutting straight down on each side of the bumper. heating to bending it back until its the same angle as the fender. Then mounting it their.

I still have the HETT bumpers.......set one below the stock bumper, cut out holes, install lights.

I'll be bringing them to the GA Rally.
