Is it the same part as the rear?

No. Front seal is NSN 5330000813416, rear is NSN 5330009180595. Can be had from all major MV parts suppliers.
If my list is correct, the National part # 3945 is the civy equivalent (hopefully someone can verify).

I don't intend to hijack, I'm going to have to do a rear main seal, what type of seal is it? I ask bc I've done this job before but not on one of these engines, am wondering if it's a two piece rubber, rope, or one piece design and do I need to pull the oil pan to do it?

@tex, the rear main is a large one piece.It's about five inches in diameter.
