Yes they are the same O.D.. But in order to run 14.5's (or their metric equivalent size 365/80R20) you will need M35A3 wheels and have them recentered. From what I can tell, the 14.50 x 20 is very close to the same height of 11.00 x 20. So to put them on the front, I would need the wheels from the 14.00 and then two 14.50 x 20 tires. Bobbing an A2 might be in my future.
See chart, below...............................Do you happen to know what is different (about the flange) since they are both 20?
I posted pic of my deuce tipper to show that 14.5's are a good match for 1100's. I have been running this combination for a few years now. The wheels are MLVW. I've seen 14.5's mounted on 5 ton combat wheels and they look to be a good match also,(Sam Winer's have them for sale on his lot). Tire pic not the best comparison to actual size but close. Michelin lists both of these tires at 482 revolutions per mile. http://militarytires.com/11Echo, What wheels do you use for the 14.5's? A lot (I think about 95 lots of 4) of 395's just sold on GL at Ohio but they are taller than the 14.5 and 365's. My guess is...the rim they are mounted on would have worked for the 923 but with metric tires. I am resisting going to 22.5, yet may have to or re-machine the metric Deuce rim for my bolt and center. What did you do?
