Frozen rear ujoint - tricks to freeing it?

After some heat, if you use a socket a little larger than diameter of u joint cap as a 'receiver' , it takes the stress off the driveshaft ear when you press it.

The auto part stores that loan tools have a ball joint / U joint press. Works real quick. I was using the one Oreilly's loans out earlier today.

I normally don't recommend cheap tools from harbor frieght but I have there ball joint/U joint press, Great tool and cheap when on sale (IIRC aprox$20)
