The truck in your avatar has 4.56 gears and in my opinion, you are correct, 55 mph is humming. The M1009 or Blazers had 3.08 gears and 65 is a good speed for them. Glen

Yours has 4.56 gears we have 3.08 gears you should not exceed 55 ever.
