fuel filter help

My nappa blew it's mind and two gallons of oil.

lol, sorry... i didnt understand the first time. sometimes you just have to spell it out for me... oh yeah that didnt work either. lol

Ok, so i got my filters today, and the gaskets didnt work on the 3540. they are to thick to go all the way up into the grove in the base
And napa didnt have the gaskets 5070 or 5131 and couldnt cross them either

I havent tried the 3511 yet

any ideas guys?

I called NAPA here this afternoon, it would be Monday before the 5070 gaskets could be in stock. Something is not right where you are it appears.

OK some how I saved 33113 to my list of filter for the deuce. So when I ordered some more filters that is what I got. I looked in the center of it and thought great they fixed/changed the filter so it would work better on the deuce. It has like tabs in the center to hold it in place better. Has anyone tried these befor?? It's a little taller by 0.128" and 0.189" wider.

I gues I will try it seens how I have 5 of them
The 33113 come with the 5131 gasket at least.

The gasket that comes with the 3511 fits.

I've got a NAPA 3113 in as my primary right now. Just got 4 more 3113's and several other filters to try as the secondary / final. I'm going to try the 3117 and see how they work. Very close to the 3512 and has the tabs to center on the bolt. Also got the 3540 to try as the final because it filters to 6 micron.

Thanks Bob that make me feel better about the 33113. I got the 33540 as well. I looked up a bunch of this stuuf a few years back and must have saved back then. I just used up the ones I had (33511,33512's)and ordered what was on my saved list at www.filter1.com
Got new catalogs from them too
