fuel filter problem

Your original filter appears to be the cleanable type. You definately are due to drain and clean your fuel tank. You new filter looks like what we use(large top hole).

That's what we did with our truck and what a HUGE improvement. The original filter is so small that it doesn't take much to start reducing performance.

great advice. i just changed all 3 filters. the secondary filter was completely packed with crapp. not sure how this thing even ran. what a difference. probably doubled my horsepower :wink:. i'll clean the tank when it warms up a bit. the spin-on primary filter kit is on my christmas list. it will definitely give me no excuse to not change my filter. anything to make that process easier is aces with me.
