while changing the fuel filter on my m1009, one of the prongs broke off. I was told it was a fuel sensor but when i went to the auto stores they couldn't find the part or tell what it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction

you need to get the whole base. The fuel sensor is a NON replacale part now days. Check Ebay for CUCV fUEL filter and go from there. The base is about 55 bucks.

The only part on the fuel filter bracket that is no on the civi truck the fuel pressure switch and it is replaceable and it is cheap. It is available from Owens Export Service Owens Export Service - Jeep's, Vehicles, Vehicle Parts and Surplus Electronics. 818-772-0806 phone # 818-772-0806. Call them and they will know exactly what you are talking about. I understand it is an aircraft part. But if it is not leaking I would not worry about it. I replaced mine but never plugged it in.
