not sure on the se or type r, but then why the talk of a heater in the fuel filter assembly. is that not standard in a OEM standyne unit?

No heater...how about not giving someone incorrect info, if you dont know what you're talking about. There is a fuel heater in the filter base!

Wow. I'm sorry for giving wrong info. How much does this Fuel heater actually heat up?

I haven't had to repair it yet...But, I know it's coming...Yes , there is supposed to be a heater in that filter housing..It would be 12 volt..As the only other 24 volt needs are ; Starter and starter relay and first half of glow plug circuit up to the resistor coils behind the intake manifold..After the coils , it would be 12 volt..

I knew there was based on all of the searches I did for info. however none of them made mention to voltage.
thanks for getting me the correct info.
