hello again gents,

i must be cutting my teeth the old fashioned way .... with lots of frustration.

i had a fuel filter base leak which i have just replaced with a new base & filter from oem surplus.

i disconned the 'pink' wire connect some clear tubing to the bleeder valve and start cranking.

after 4+ 10 sec starting cycles fuel begins to come out the black tube that is attached to the bottom of the filter base

what am i doing wrong?

any help for the greenhorn is much appreciated.

best regards and Happy Thanksgiving

thanks Utah,

it was tight but i traced the cause to the fact that i removed the old hose and drain and just installed on the new filter base i just installed.

there is a small difference between the old and new. i just chalk it up to laziness on my part not switching the drain line.

best regards
m
