Fuel pump leak at emergency fuel cutoff

I found the source of my fuel pump leak on my M923A1, its the little valve assy on the emergency fuel cutoff, the shaft is really loose and if I wiggle it while truck is running it squirts out fuel...I'm actually surprised I didn't loose prime with this issue, truck starts and runs fine.

what I need is this emergency fuel cutoff valve assy...can anyone assist?

i found one here for an 800 series....the price is rediculous

Ya, I've been looking for one for awhile too - same thing - shaft is loose. I agree, the price is high (your link). Is the one for the 800 series the same as the 900 series??

No pics sorry...just remove it from the Fuel Pump, 1/2, 9/16 and 5/8 wrenches...simple. the unit is nothing more then a Ball with a hole in it, when
you pull the lever the ball stops the fuel, when pushed the other way "open" fuel flows through the Hole in the Ball.
there is an O-ring on the outside shaft, a small hex cap screw that holds the lever on...that hex cap screw was loose, thus the entire
ball unit inside did not seal correctly, I only figured this out once I removed it...so in fact,it was nothing more then a Loose screw.
yours might be the same....when tight it causes the arm/plate that the cable goes too, to seal around the O-ring that is on the Shaft.
you will see....give it a whirl....

Mine's held on with a hex nut. There's a square shaft coming out of the valve body that the lever sets on. Not surprising there are variable designs. Yes, I'll have to just dive in and see why my shaft is so loose (the nut is tight).
