Fuel pumps question

I'm running a 30 micron and a 10 micron oil filter sized filters. I then have a tank selector valve.
I have a Mr Gasket diesel pump pushing fuel through all this.
Is it beneficial to add a pump after the restrictions?
I have both an OEM in line pump, and an older Walbro pump.
Which is better for that use?

When I went to my turbo, I put in a stock GM pump (I know, not the best choice in pump, but the price was right) I have an inline filter mated to the input side of the pump, then up to the stock unit on the fire wall and on to the IP, so far, this has been a good setup, while not good for the IP, if the electric lift pump fails, the IP can still pull through the electric pump and at least get me home or someplace I can change it out. I do like the idea of a couple of gauges to monitor filter condition.
