Fuel Tank / Fuel Pump Mounting Issue

Greetings!
My original fuel tank developed a leak and I was able to purchase a NOS stock M35A2 fuel tank. I was removing the sealer in the moutning holes for the fuel level sender and fuel pump and it appears that only every other hole is threaded for the fuel pump mounting screws. Is this normal for a NOS fuel tank? Do I need to tap / thread the additional 5 holes?

I agree, I checked each hole for threads with a flashlight and toothpic

Probably a Monday or Friday tank.. good enough for govt work.

That's what is on mine...just changed the screws to ss yesterday.
