Fuel tank stencil

Occasionally I find images of the xm757 8x8 from the time it was used and "discover" new details. The stencil work on the fuel tank is one such thing, but I can't make out all the words, can any of you give me examples of warnings/caution markings used on fuel tanks, so that I can get a "best fit" on the words. Sorry about the small size, but there is all there is.
It probably starts out "Caution do not..."

Bjorn, It looks to me like it says "Caution do not fill above this line"

Hmm...you may be right, another image actually shows a fat white line just below the filler neck.

Both tanks on our M817 say "Caution do not fill above this line" and have a short black line a couple of inches from the top of the tank.

Both of our M35A2s say "Caution do not fill above this line to allow for expansion" and have a dotted line next to the word "Caution" (see pic)

All three trucks have smaller lettered stencils, 1/2" I think, that say "pressure open slowly" next to the filler caps.

OK, guys,
lets look a little bit back into history.
In the 50's and 60's the stencil on the tanks was simply: DO NOT FILL ABOVE THIS LINE.
In the mid 70 this stencil was added by the remark: ALLOW FOR EXPENSI0N.
This was due to the change of the US-Army from a drafty Army to a voluntary Army. The everage knowledge by that time of the volunteers was that low, that this explanation was neccessarily required. I do own technical manuals of that time that look more than Comic books than technical manuals.
I'm sorry to say that, however, I can prove that.

Here's a picture of the tank on my M656. The text is:

CAUTION
DO NOT FILL ABOVE
DOTTED LINE

The dotted line at the upper right is located where the flat side of the tank starts to curve.

I think it's a nice touch that they painted the "DO NOT FILL ABOVE" text right on top of the big, thick, weld seam.

On the fuel tanks on my boat, the expansion space is called the "ullage space".
