No. I did check for tightness originally and there were very tight. I’m sure it will pop back up. I thought it might have been because the box was loose with the mounting bolts ? It should have been grounded threw the wire harness.

The box should not depend on it being grounded to the body, since that was the only time you re-seated those connectors if it were me I would re-visit them again, looking closely at them and use some DeoxIT on them.

The last thing you did before it died seems like it involved that slave port.

Take it out.
