Got the pulley for the gen and master cylinder today, but I am still waiting on the oil filter adapter to come in so I can fire it up. Any advice before trying to start this thing after it has sat for 30 years?
Have a CO2 fire extinguisher on hand in case it tries to run away.

did you get the injectors freed up . adjusting the rack on the Detroit 353 can be a real chore, if you have to pull them and if your not familiar with Detroit rack set up you may want to find and old Detroit mech to set them back up ,if their not nearly spot o
n it wont start, I think I have three new ones some where
