Gama Goat Swimming or Skinny Dipping

I know it's an old post, but I like going bac in time and seeing what was talked about previously. The comment about the flat bottoms on Goats bottoming out is no lie. I don't have the mud experience, but I sure do about it happening in deep snow. digging one of these babies out seeking ground for traction is not fun, time consuming, YES!

They're especially prone to sticking in wet snow which was a gold plated PITA to lie on your side scraping out from under the @#$%^& truck. Tire chains can help but there is so little clearance in the wheel wells that you can't turn the steering wheel to the locks without gouging the heck out of the inner wheel wells. When I was stationed in West Berlin we sometimes put chains on the center axle as the darn goats would get stuck on level ground if the road was a sheet of ice and just sit there with all six tires spinning......
