gas cap m1008

Got my first m1008 after all the waiting and the long trip to get it and its missing the gas cap. Cant seem to find one that will fit any ideas? Also put two new batteries in and the gen 2 light still stays on.

Have you tried one of those fuel caps? They look like the civilian caps. Wayne

Thanks for the tip i'll swing by there today. ????? On the driver side alt i am getting 12.5 volts d.c. when the truck is running that should be more like 14 like on a 12 vt system correct??
and if that is bad do you know what the part number and or the best place to pick up a replacement.
