I'm going to add a set of the typical oil pressure and water temp gauges. I would also like to install a couple of volt gauges. I think it would be cool to replace the dummy lights with them. Has anyone here done this?

Don't know of anyone that finished the porjetc. Some have tried.

It takes alot of work.

If you get a guage set from the junkyard, you will have to rewire the plug for the cluster and change out sensors.

Do a search, I posted my job doing this a year or so back, working fine. Main issues are making sure the gauges are firmly in place in their retainers and being gentle with the foil contacts the plug into the gauge cluster plugs up against.
