are you sure that a military vehicle. Seems like way too much glass and padded seats to be one. Neat though, looks like a minivan on tracks

It is made at the GAZ special vehicles plant. Zavolzhsky Crawler Vehicle Plant. They take a minivan (really) and modify it for the tracked carriage. You can even see the steering column that was for the steering wheel in the minivan.

I can, but it is very expensive all-terrain vehicle.
Price in Ukraine will start from $ 75,000 (depending on body type and engine) + shipping in the U.S..
Please note: U.S. Customs - easy to register the vehicle (and not expensive) if they are older than 25 years.

Cheaper to buy and upgrade the BRDM 2 (tuning version: http://sovietarmor.com/catalog/armored/brdm_tuning.html)

Or buy some other lightweight all-terrain vehicle, such as GAZ 61 ((there is one in 1968, the fuel gas / petrol, amphibian))

Im looking for a BMP1. On with the rubber track pads installed. Can you get one of these? I would want a functional turret but demilled of course to US specs.
