Yes it is. You can tell by the extra terminal with the large black wire. It connect to the engine. That wire provides the ground for that unit.

From the factory, both alternators are isolated grounds. That was so the military only had to stock one type of alternator.

The passenger side HAS to be an isolated ground or fireworks will be in your future.

A regular civvy alternator can work on the drivers side only.
