Gen 1 problem

I know, here we go again!
i have been searching site, I still need help.
m1008
new batteries, known good alternators, cleaned fuse block, new fuses, cleaned instrument bezel, new bulbs, changed relays. Visual check of wire against my driver.
pig tail to alt 1....
12.2 red wire key off
0 brown wire key off

12 red wire key on
11.7 brown wire key on

the red wire charge wire the goes to gen 2...(problem 1)
Gen 1 light on
13.8 key off
25 key on

Problem 2
gen 1 light off
11.7 volts from same red wire key off and on

So I'm getting 2 different sets of numbers at any given time, unfortunately neither are correct. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thank you very much for any help!

Ok, of course as soon as I posted I started the truck for the 10th time today, and I'm getting better numbers but not perfect. 14.9volts gen 1 truck running. 12.7 key off, 12.7 key on. So I still have an issue, just not sure where, thanks again for any input!
