These lights are designed to run on 33 volts max, they all worked perfect today. What are y'all's thoughts on the gauge reading high? If it's charging within spec should I not rely on the gauge? I'm stumped. I'll go over all the connections better and see if I find anything.

The gauges aren't always accurate, and are sometimes way off. If your lights keep going out randomly and coming back I would look for shorts to ground in the lighting circuit and replace the three lever light switch. There are circuit breakers I the switch that are subject to failure. My truck running 30 volts shows just barely in the upper edge of the green on the gauge.

I agree with Jeepsinker. Replace the light switch. Your voltages are fine, don't mess with it. All our busses run at 29.7 to 30.0 Volts .

Yea, voltage seemed more than reasonable to me. I should have another switch laying around. Only cable I didn't replace during the rebuild was the battery to frame, so I'm going to replace it just to be safe.
