generator squeals

Just replaced the generator in my M35 with a takeout from an engine I replaced 2 years ago. It charges the batteries fine but squeals. Any suggestions to correct this?

It may have a bad bearing, could be Loose belts.

It only squeals when I engage the start electrical switch, and it is starting to burn up one of the belts. but once I turn the switch off with the engine running it is fine. so I guess I may have to get a new one.

Could be a bad batt pulling too much currant.
