Generator wiring

So my deuce was missing the gen when I got her. But recently I got my hands on a gen that was off a m35a2 but the problem I'm having is my truck has the a plug with 3 holes and this gen doesn't have a plug it has 3 places to connect wires to post. How can I remove the plug and make sure I get the wiring right

You need the alternator conversion kit. Call around to TJMurray etc, the vendors should have some.
