Just picked up my first 2.5 ton! 83 AM General. It has the whistler turbo, manual trans, and drop/troop bed. It came with some goodies including 4 spares, wood and fiberglass sets of troop seats, and the arches for the tarp. Has a hard too but came with 2 soft tops as well. Picked it up for 5,000.

Well... I personally think you got a good deal. It's a nice looking truck. Whistler Turbo sounds neat going down the road too! Got a hard top on it and a nice brush guard on the front too. Appears to have minimal rust too.
