No, didn't loose the mushroom, it didn't have a clamp. Noticed it at the fuel stop, so we took it off. There are ALOT of Fort Irwin practice trucks there. They are beat! We looked at 10 - 12 trucks when we inspected this one, All were very rough except for the USAF M35A2Cs that were there. Very low mileage, a little rust, but nice trucks. I didn't see them today, I think they were gobbled up by another gov. entity. We kept going back to this one. There is some body damage, but the running gear looks perfect. Recent rebuild at Utah, rust proofing, suond proofing, fresh CARC, tires..except for the left front..95% with no cracking, troop seats. His, hole's, truck, runs real good. I was flat out with a head wind comming back, 42 mph@ 2000 RPM in 5th. He was slowly pulling away. But, I have a cover on the back and crossed the scales at 14.800 with all the junk in the truck before we went to Walkers.
