First post.
I own a 1985 M1008 CUCV. 12 volt conversion, with new AC Delco 60 plugs that all work. I have a functional bypass / manual button that cycles the plugs. When I turn ignition switch, glow plug wait light appears / disappears when appropriate when hot / cold. I am familiar with the incorrect wiring harness diagram for the orange wire sensing resistance from plugs. The goal is to understand why / how the controller card fails and is not functional. In other words, how do I know for sure the card has failed without replacing it. What is the main reason / weak point the card fails? My truck runs great, however I want to restore to original use of controller in order to supply after glow once the truck has been started and to not overuse / accelerate premature glow plug failure. Thanks
