The fact that you got all the drums off is a MAJOR win, took me two days to get to that point. I welded up bands of steel strapping to slip over the shoes allowing the brakes to be bled with the drums still off. I have a vacuum bleeder too and found it to be utterly useless on the goat. Feel free to give me a call, I've just done all of this and might save you some time.

The goat work never ends, you are making good progress, but, when are you gonna get that steering wheel back on the correct side?

Liners have been bonded to the shoes and everything re-assembled except for one broken brake return spring. Reached out to a local classic jeep specialist, no,luck, largest drum size brought to Oz was apparently 12", and the Goat (by extension the M715?) is a 13" drum. Big thanks to Hammnds 4WD for ratting through their spares bins on the off chance of a match.

So now, anyone know who might have brake return springs in stock, and is the full assembly a match to the M715 or just the liners?
