Going rate for a M373a2?

Today I stumbled upon a M373a2 at a local scrap yard, I don't have any pics of it but it is a 1987 model, all 5 tires are like new, it has the ladder strapped under it, and the rest of the trailer I would say is a solid 8 out of 10. They are asking $1750 for it but I'm not sure what the going price for one of these are. They told me that they need to know something by next week or they have to move it to another lot, stating they have to pay taxes on everything in their lot after the first of the year. Thanks in advance for any info.

Prices vary depending on place and condition..also title. What its worth is up to you. I know my area can get them in fair condition for $600-800 range.

This one is over, but you can still review it and see the price and compare. It sold in Delaware

The Georgia taxes on it would not be much more then $15, if that much.

He sounds like a car dealer, who say the same thing, then, in January, they drop the prices again. It's a scam when they tell you that.

If I'm not mistaken, there were 2 or 3 that went through Warner Robbins about 6 months ago that sold in $900~$1000 range.

I took the wife by to see it today and to make an offer on it but he said he had been mistaken on the price and that his boss wanted $2500 I told him there is no way I could go anywhere close to that. So, thanks for all your input, I'll just have to keep my eye out for another one.

Yeah not worth it. They go for ~1K at auction. Some of the other van trailers even less. Heck that expando van I asked if you could pick up for me only went for $980.
