Howdy all, I was just wondering if these were good for reading up on before I get a deuce. I found these on E-Bay and won the auction (hope it wasn't against any of you guys!!!)

These are what the auction consisted of:

Troubleshooting Manual LDS-465-1 Multifuel Engine

Systematic Inspection Procedure for 2 1/2 Ton Truck GTA9-1-185(1-8)

Troubleshooting Operator Level 2 1/2 Ton Multifuel

Troubleshooting Organizational Level 2 1/2 Ton 6X6

2 each Memphis Equipment Parts Manual. 1 excellent condition, 1 good/used condition.

Maintenance Manual TM9-2320-209-20-3-1 TO36A12-1B-1092-1-3

Maintenance Operator Level 2 1/2 Ton 6X6

Operation Installation and Reference Data Manual. This includes all trucks with winch Model M35A1, M35A2, M35A2C, M36A2, M49A1C, M49A2C, M50A1, M50A2, M50A3, M109A2.

And possibly more.

Is this a good start??

The only manual for the deuce you won't find on Logsa is the TM 9-2320-361-10 Operators manual. Luckily for you and all. you can find it here on Steel Soldiers!

I have two different versions of the TM 9-2320-209-10, both dated February 1965. One has 276 pages the other 332.
The longer version includes the M756A2 truck, it's not mentioned in the other.
Interesting, nicht war. :)

Funny thing, I have the TM 9-2320-361-10 in the master bath and the TM 9-8022 in the guest bath. Wonder what folks think with reading material this good.

Wow, maybe hard copies are again being sought after? I invested over $600.00 in TM's, then the CD-ROM manuals came out and I've been tripping over them ever since. All NOS, some still in wrappers. A couple of three and four complete volume sets, too, but not as cheap. Almost all for the deuce, some for 5-ton and CUCV. I never created a list, but if someone wants any, I sell 209's for $5,00 - 10.00. 361's higher. No 209-10 Operators Manuals left. I also have quite a few used manuals in big 3-ring binders. If interested in any, e-mail me direct. All used manuals are in v.g. condition.

Joe, did you see my post above? Do you have any 209-10's from 1965? If so, how many pages? Both of mine are dated Feb 8, 1965 and are different as described the one with the extra section on the M756 is slightly larger in size, 10-3/3x8-1/4 compared to 10-1/4x7-3/4.

I'm not sure, Bjorn, but when I get chance I'll take a look. I really think mine are all 1970's and eighties.
Bjorn,

I went through them and do not have that manual, though I know that I've seen them someplace at one time or another.

Ok guys- between life being extrememly hectic lately and the ground shipping on these Dept. of Army / Airforce manuals I finally got a chance to go through them and see what is there. Here is the Breakdown:

Two - memphis Equipment Parts manuals

One - Memphis Equipment Trouble Shooting Manual for the Multifuel engine

One - 9-2320-209-10-1 dtd 09-80

One - 9-2320-209-10-3 dtd 09-80

One - 9-2320-209-10-4 dtd 09-80

One - 9-2320-209-20-2-2 dtd 05-81

One - 9-2320-209-20-3-1 dtd 05-81

Two - GTA 9-1-185 (1-8) dtd 10-77

I am sure I probably paid too much for these ($50) but I was excited to get original Army docs on the deuce. I have to find a helluva big binder to seperate these up into. They are all loose right now and I am trying to keep them out of the reach of the kids so they don't get pulled down and spilled all over the place!! That would suck!! Any suggestion on how to bind these or what size 3 ring binders y'all have used on them in the past?

Thanks!!

Paper is good. Check with and become friendly with the local guard unit. Sometimes they still have paper laying around and will gove it up. I've got several genuine PDF discs from the guys.

Thanks for the idea R4x4! I will try and sweet my way into the National Guard - there's one less than a mile away from my house. I am kinda excited - trying to figure out where to start reading. LOL - huge paper for the two 'libraries' we have in the house!!
