Governor joint at Injector Pump keeps disconnecting

I have been having an occasional issue on my MEP003a.

Several times I have attempted to start the engine to find it would not start. Each time I have thought to myself "it seems like it is not getting fuel" and each time found the joint on the governor arm, where it slips over the ball on the injector pump, has slipped off. I pop it back on and the engine fires right up.

It seems to take "just enough effort" to pop it on that I would not THINK it would pop off, but it obviously does.

Any ideas?
