I found a cupholder from an old jeep tuffy console and threaded it into the rack mount. Works like a charm!

A common modification was the use of 32oz Gatorade bottles cut at the first "indent" and screwed to the 'dash' to act as cup holders in a bunch of the Rigger HMMWVs, no idea why just those ones, but they had a few of them modified like that.
