Half Shaft

Ok, here's the dilemma. Torn Cv boot on 7k half shaft. 1989 M998.... Rebuilding it, but it's not truly serviceable in my book... Was going to go to 10k shafts at some point. What do you guys think the problem might be running (1) 10 k shaft with the other 3 at 7k..??? Does anyone think it would cause any major imbalance? Would like to get them eventually but was thinking of replacing instead of rebuilding this 7K at the moment with a 10 K... Send me your deepest thoughts !!!

no issues.

The military upgraded them on trucks one at a time as they failed.
No imbalance issues as each shaft is independent of the others.

10K shafts are fully backwards compatible.
