Hand Throttle and Engine stop pull cables don't lock

Hey,

My hand throttle and engine stop don't stay locked out no matter what position they are twisted to. I couldn't find an "adjustment" that would fix them behind the dashboard. Do they need to be replaced to fix this problem or what?

It should be replaced. The throttle can be inconvenient if it won't stay out but the engine stop can be dangerous. The cable should be replaced.
