Has anyone tried to add an additional muffler to a TQG?

What is a TQG?

Tactical Quiet Generator - I was late to refresh the page... But mine is quieter than some other 803's because of the additional steps I have taken to add my own sound proofing material to the existing housing.

That pipe you used looks nice and thin wall. you call it rigid? I'm assuming it's use for electrical work?

Yes - rigid electrical conduit coupler. The pipe is standard galvanized plumbing pipe though...

You know, I was exercising mine the other day, and I realized the the cooling air blows right toward the control panel, across the exhaust outlet. I mostly noticed it because it was raining, so I only had the machine a few feet out the garage door, and I still got a lot of diesel exhaust in the garage. I completely forgot until I just looked at your pics, that I wanted to put a pair of 90* elbows and a short extension to move it over and away from that airflow path. Eh, project for the 803, I think the 802 will have a for sale sign on it soon.

What is a TQG?

Tactical Quiet Generator (IE one that is not as noisy as the ones they replaced - but still kinda loud when you are on an LP {Listening Post}).
