head lamps

I seen these lights a few months back wile doing some training at the RRAD. they were factory from Oshkosh. I will tell you they are BRIGHT. i am going to see about getting a pair to put on my M1009

Are those the ones that shine blue? I saw a new hemmt driving through Oshkosh, and it had a blue tint to the lights, kind of like the newer cars w/ HID headlights.

yep that is them. no mods needed they are a dircet replacement for the 24 volt bulbs

In that case you cant use them on the 1009 (12v lights), unless you pull from both batteries and switch them with a relay.

Besides, you'd be putting a round peg in a square socket.

yeah i plan on putting them in the bumper. custom bumpers i made .. with remote switch... relay and the whole 9 yards

yes yes I will post pics when it is all done.... better bumpers and good lights are a must here in the middle of White Tail country.. i hit 8 last year the CUCV a couple dents in the bumper and tweeked the brush guard.

I am in deer country as well, not as bad as i live in the city. I am planning on a real bumper for the front of the 1008 sometime.
