I just used my Deuce to back an MK14 trailer and hook up to another MK14 trailer. The combo is normally hauled by an MK 48 which has a 425hp Detroit. I don't think anyone else has tandem towed this combo with the prime mover being a M35A2 and both trailer's riding on Pintle hitches but my truck can do it. It moved the combo 15 feet tonight with no issues. I will advise that the Oshkosh folks were very smart. They made it so that you could not hook a MK14 trailer behind another unless it was connected to the MK48 as the lights and airlines will not intermix between a towed MK14 and another towed MK14. I have no air, lights or brake's on the second towed MK14. I fixed that by caging the brakes on the second MK14. I did not take them down the road yet but the Multi in the Deuce didn't even feel them back there much in low range!!! I'll bet I can get up to 20 on a flat with my 32,000 pound towed load!!! No one has ever done it, I just had to see. I'll gross out at about 45,000 pounds and about 70 feet combined. I might need some permits. If anyone think's I'm serious about this, enjoy the laugh you should have had by now. Yes they are connected but I won't take it out of the yard like this. If anyone is new and considering doing something like this, you've been warned to not try it!!!
