Help! I was removing my turbo from my deuce and one of the studs snapped off. As seen in the photo I have about one inch of stud left and am looking for any ideas to get it extracted. My next attempt will be getting it red hot with a torch and try backing it out. Last thing I want to do is pull the manifold and drill it out but it may be necessary. Thanks in advance

All this for the sound of a Whistler

Sounds like you know what needs to happen. Who needs a whistler anyway?

(I'd take a hummer over a whistler any day.)

If putting a nut on it still doesn't work get some freeze mist from Radio Shack or a local electronics store. Slowly heat the manifold and then spray the freeze mist on the stud. The thermal expansion and contraction may break it loose and you can then turn it with a wrench. It might even work without welding a nut on.
