Help... I think I bought the wrong glad hand ?

I bought a Red Phillips gland hand from NAPA today. Got home and tried it out, and it won't fit the red one on the truck ( Fits the yellow one fine! )

I really can't see the difference between them, any ideas on how to modify the glad hand I bought to be able to fit the red one on the truck ?
(I ask because I scraped some paint off, probably can't return it)
