Hello everyone. I am new to forums and chat rooms etc. Never been on any group on the internet before. I have been a member for a while and just been looking around gathering information on my vehicles. Any other members from WI here?

Where would I post for mechanical help? I made a rookie mechanic mistake and was in a hurry taking my IP out and I have a part I don't remember where it goes. I would like to ask if any of the mechanics recognize it before I get to far in putting it back together. For the life of me I can't remember where it goes. I took pics and labeled the fuel lines and took pics of the bolts for the air intake and looked in TM 9-2815-237-3. I just can't seem to remember where I pulled it out of. Image is attached I think.......

If anyone in WI is looking for a good diesel shop in central WI that rebuilds IP's; the place I took mine to did a great job and quick turn around for $625.

Thank you in advance.

Respecfully,
William

Hello William and Welcome to the outfit !

We need to move your question to the HMMWV section. (One of the Moderators can do that for you)
Just GUESSING, but that seems to be the motor you are working on?

You will get a lot more "traffic" about your post there. There are folks here who can be more helpful that me. Snap a few pictures of the motor that you removed the IP from and maybe a picture or two of the injector pump too.

Thank you for the guidance. Do I have to message someone to move it? Yes HMMWV 6.5. Much appreciated. Thank you Sir. I think I attached pictures to this reply.

Yes Sir. Using the "Report" button should make that happen.
I did that and explained why - and it can't hurt if more than one of us ask to have it moved.
