Help me Identify this rolling chassis

I am looking at buying a rolling chassis for the diesel drivetrain for my 1952 M41.

The chassis is at a salvage yard and they don't know too much about it

here is a pic of it



I know its a 8.3 cummins. In the add, they said it was a 1985, but the tag on the motor says 1991

I know it could be anything but hopefully something sticks out to help narrow it down. It has 10 lug axles

Good grasshopper but that was a 944A2

Looks like one of the mrap trainers that were on the 939 chassis with the body removed.

The steps at the pintle give it away

With as much steel that was on it, whatever they sell the frame for has to be pure profit.

Looking closer the steps threw me off probably 931A2 or 929A2

Possibly but not that model, that one was a 923A2

Yeah, it's the only one that popped up. Give the op an idea of what it kinda looked like before the torch got ahold of it.

Is this a good motor/trans to swap in or are there better engines to look at?

Yep, looks like one of the original prototypes w/ the ladder
at the back. A complete specimen sold for big bucks about
a year ago or so on GL I think it was.
