Okay so there are one inch diameter plactic lines going into the CTIS manifold under the cab. The line nuts break free very easily but the plastic lines turn with the nuts. I don't want to keep turning them at the risk of breaking the lines, does anyone have any expirence with these?

Swage

This is a swage type fitting. The nut will turn freely once you get the extra paint and crud off of it. Spray some WD40 on it and scrape the extra paint off of the line just above the nut.

Patience will save you drama.

There's a brass compression insert on the tube that the nut forces tighter on the tube and fitting as the nut is tightened. There's no issue with the tubing turning with the nut except at some point the tube will kink. There should be no problem using a little wd40 of liquid wrench to penetrate and loosen the tubing from the nut. You should also be able to hold the tubing when turning the nut. There's plenty of work room around the manifold assembly!

One other thing, some of my fittings had been over tightened, so the plastic line was already a little too compressed to be reused. You might want to expect to have to replace some of that plastic line.
