Help with smoking glow plug switch

I'm confused why the relay is different in the first and last pics.

I replaced the relay with a factory one. I charged the batteries replaced the relay card, replaced the relay and wired per schematic, replaced all the fuses and she fired up! I also printed a 1000 pages of TMs and put them in a binder! THANKS GUYS!!!!
