Hey everyone our 1985 M923 has a couple things I can not seem to track down.

First: There is an intermitten almost rubbing / grinding noise comeing from the front end only happens afte hitting a bump, is higher pitched the faster you drive and goes away by either stopping or turing left. I have hit all breaks, hubs, u joints with IR thermometer nothing stands out as excessivly hot,or loose. no signs of rubbing. You can feel it in the floor, steering and seat. I know its tough without hearing it, my goal is to mount a couple of go pros underneath and see if I can catch something in the moment, however Im hoping someone has any ideas?

Mine ( maybe front axle trying to lock for some reason maybe issue with air or vaccum.) fluid level issues in front axle because its definetly coming from the front.

2nd question I can not for the life of me find this little guy any where in the TM or online whats the specific name and any idea where to get it? this one leaks just a little but I wanna catch it before little hole turns to big hole. This comes off the top air tank on passenger side right under exhaust.

Thank you in advance for your help

Low air pressure switch. Typically there is 2 switches. One is for the warning buzzer fail safe.

There are 2 varities as they were upgraded. Yours is the newer style but either one works fine and are interchangeable.
Thank you, i saw the other style and thats why i was shy on pulling the trigger. Also appreciate the respect cause it is a very simple thing im just not 100% familiar with it all..

We all have a learning curve. My failsafe module drove me crazy. Changed the switch and the module to no avail. My failsafe is unplugged as I got tired of throwing parts and time into it.....
