Mabe 2012 can be this 'awakening' where out Kids and the youth of this country start kicking butt in the corupt machine, lobbiests and pollititions. No doubt about there being a last grab by polititions getting all the $ they can before the structure colapses. They are self serving. Adams was right about a goverment living with in its means......certainly something the present admin is IGNORANT of. Wreakerman's quite astute nere !

First off, carbon dioxide is not a pollutant! It is necessary for life on earth. If you eliminate the CO2 from our atmosphere, all plants will die.

Second, our trucks and cars are mimicking horses. They take in fuel, and oxygen, and emit CO2 and water vapor (and some other products). Cars and trucks are actually much more efficient than horses. If we eliminated all cars and trucks, and attempted to maintain current farm production levels, our new horses would be dumping more CO2 into the atmosphere than our current trucks and tractors... and because horses have to remain alive between jobs, they would do it 24/7. They would also eat us out of house and home, and bury us in dung.

If horses were more efficient than farm tractors, we would be using them right now.

Global warming is a fact. Man's involvement in global warming is purely speculation with a political agenda. Most of the data that is purported to prove man made global warming has had any inconvenient truths that don't support the conclusion conveniently removed.

The number one "greenhouse gas" is water vapor. It is responsible for 95% of the warming that keeps us alive on this planet (Think clouds). CO2 is responsible for 3.5% of the global warming, and humans are responsible for less than 3% of the CO2 put into the atmosphere each year. Nature is responsible for the remaining 97%.

Too much CO2 is a pollutant and even a minimal disturbance to that balance has harmful effects. Automobiles emit more than just CO2 anyway.

The name of the game is balance. There is no way the WORLD can modernize with the present balance of fossil fuel use.

What other region on this has the luxury to move a ten ton piece of metal for FUN. Even Armies minimize MV usage to necessities ......or at least they are supposed to. Gotta fight and train but mud hogging is Verboten yall.

There is no plot or secret to discover ...just science to accept. Even without a calculator it is easy to figure out that a finite amount of fossil fuel will be divided between more people............ and the HOBBY as well as other uses for the civie MV will have to change.

Sure, with enough CO2 in the atmosphere, you could snuff most of the animals (10-15%), but we are nowhere near that value. We are much lower than we have been historically, and at todays numbers, CO2 is 0.038% of our atmosphere (1% is where humans start to feel drowsy).

In my opinion, the water vapor cloud emitted by high flying jet aircraft has more of a green house effect than all of the CO2 emitted by cars on earth combined. Water vapor accounts for 95% of the greenhouse effect.

I don't disagree that we should reduce our fossil fuel consumption, but I strongly disagree with the man made global climate change crowd. They are an organ of political change. Their goal is to redistribute the wealth of the highly developed industrial nations to the under developed countries. Cap and Trade is their current favored method.

Our use of MV's is insignificant compared to all other vehicle use. Cost of fuel does a great job of making sure that will always be so.
