So it all started when I bought the truck.
Seller stated it was probably the rear main seal and history of the 6.2L would also back that up.
I ordered the seal and a pan gasket for the rear lip piece. As soon as I received the parts I replaced the seal. Sure enough the old seal was a rope seal so I thought I got it.
Refilled the oil, reconnected the battery, and started it up.

Unfortunately the oil was still leaking as badly as ever.
While running I used a flashlight looking through the smaller starter inspection cover area and I could see the oil coming out of the cam plug journal.

I removed the transmission and there was no cam plug at all.
